Belgian European of Nations team reshuffled
Last weekend it was announced that Jeremy Van Horebeek was no longer able to cope with his injured thumb. This Friday, the MXoN MX2 rider of Team Belgium will go under the knife. As a result, team manager Walter Haentjes had to rush to find a replacement in the MX2. It was found with Nick Triest. In addition, Haentjes also had to find a replacement for Kevin Strijbos (MX1). Strijbos is reportedly struggling with a painful knee and Jeremy Delincé will also appear at the start in Markelo - just like during the Coupe de l'avenir. Manuel Priem (Open) is therefore the only remaining rider of the original three. The West Flemish is a successful veteran in the EMXoN, he has already won three times.
But 'Quick Nick' was also on the podium in 2007 (Gaildorf) in the European MX of Nations together with Manuel Priem and Kristof Salaets.
