French beach campaign for Yentel Martens.
Now that the end of the GP season is approaching, many riders are already making plans for the winter. Although in most cases it concerns holiday plans. To a certain extent, this also applies to Yentel Martens, who is heading to the French sandy beaches this winter. After all, Martens plans to complete the entire “Championnat de France des Sables”, so to speak, the French beach racing championship. De Lommelaar is in discussions with a number of teams about this. Although he says there is a good chance that he will still compete on a KTM. “But that won't be on my trusted KTM SX 250. Given the high speeds on the hard parts of the beach, you need a four-stroke engine," says Martens. In addition to the French sand competitions, a number of ADAC SX competitions are also on Martens' winter programme.
