Milville for Dungey and Canard
n It's starting to become monotonous in the 450 class. In his home race, Dungey is from Minnesota, the Rockstar-Suzuki pilot won the two heats. In the 250 we saw another attacking Trey Canard (see photo above) who came second in the first heat after Christophe Pourcel and won in heat two. Dungey is now 81 points ahead of Andrew Short. Pourcel remains in the lead in the 250, Wilson follows on 32 points, Canard is third on 44 points.
Six in a row for Dungey
It is very rare that riders immediately dominate in their first season in the toughest class. Yet that is what Dungey has been doing for several months now. Last year he dominated in the 250 with a West Coast SX title and the outdoor title. To everyone's surprise, he took his first SX title with the big boys earlier this year and now Dungey dominates the outdoor championship. Milville was already his sixth victory in a row! In the first heat, Ryan quickly passed lead starter Windham and controlled the race from then on. Josh Grant worked his way up nicely from six to two, the regular Short came third.
Ben Townley had a good start in the second race, but BT could not teach Dungey either. As has often happened this season, the New Zealander made a mistake and Short was given the lead. Dungey meanwhile sat third and a lap later the race was decided with Dungey's overtaking maneuver on Short. The surprise of the day came from the Texan private driver Kyle Regal. Regal came second and was on the final podium, just like in Freestone. Windham did not do badly in his first race as a Honda Factory depanneur, he did not miss the podium with a fifth and fourth place.

The two faces of Christophe Pourcel
The scenario of the 250 class also looked very familiar. Pourcel briefly played with Trey Canard in the first moto, but the Frenchman came out on top. Traditionally, the first heat was Pourcel's best. A bad start and an uninspired Cri-Cri only resulted in tenth place in the second race.
Trey Canard led from start to finish, with Scot Dean Wilson second. Justin Barcia, Tyla Ratttray and Jake Weimer rounded out the top five. Searle, recently back from injury, finished ninth.
