Tongeren-Berg is preparing for a great day!
One address for those who want to see top motocross tomorrow on a beautiful, clear circuit: Tongeren-Berg! In addition, the organizing club AMC Lauw listened carefully to the comments from riders and the public regarding dust after the race in May. With the help of AMC Dworp, the club has done everything it can to prepare the circuit in perfect condition.
On Tuesday the soil was turned and then watered and milled. Since then, the circuit has been regularly 'watered' with heavy substances. For example, the fire brigade cooperates in wetting the blast bumps. To complete the circuit, an additional 1000 meters were added. In the meantime, approximately 1 (!) million liters of water have been supplied to keep everything dust-free. Organizer Frank Grotars: “Today, Saturday, we are continuing to work on the circuit. From five o'clock we will spray again and because we have installed lighting we can continue even when it is dark. Normally we spray until about 12 o'clock tonight. We will start again tomorrow morning and the fire brigade will also visit the jumping mountains so that the riders can start training under the best possible conditions!”
