FAM toppers settle in Tielt
The last weekend of June should normally be one of the highlights in the amateur motocross world. All pilots of the affiliated FAM Federations: VLM – VBM – MCLB, are expected in the province of West Flanders in the TIELT territory for the second round of the 2010 FAM Championship.
Motor Club Tielt 'De Bangermanen' led by chairman Philippe Van Troys have done everything they can to offer everyone a wonderful championship on a spectacular and very well-maintained circuit. This takes place on the farmlands and beautiful meadows of farmer Franky De Roo, a special friend of the Van Troys family and himself an employee of the organization.
Tension among the top players?
In the International MX2, Jurgen Wybo did a great job despite a deflated rear tire in the second heat, the MCLB rider won the first round and finished second in the final round, with 114p. His biggest opponents are Wesley Verheyen, unlucky in the first series in Hamond and series winner, and Danny De Baets and Jonathan Banken and Marco Stalman, all with 95p, and Ronny Van Hove with 94p.
Strange course in the 'Queen Class' the Inters mx1/3 A, Steve Seronval from mclb successfully completed the first series, but in the second it all went wrong in the first round and over and out. Sven Breugelmans won that 2de series, but he only came 9de under the checkered flag in the first series. The most regular and leader in the standings was and is Jan Lauryssen from VBM with a double 3de place and now leader with 100 points. for Sven Breugelmans from vlm and Christof Godrie from mclb with 97p. We are especially looking forward to Steve Seronval, who recently ruled the MCLB Inters with an iron hand, and Jelle Grade, championship leader at VLM. Both have some things to make up for after their failure in Hamont. In group B, MCLB's Jens Bleyaert leads ahead of Jurgen Vervloessem (vlm) with 54p.
