The new RMs are coming!
In Hamamatsu they are there early, because Suzuki is now presenting all its MX models for next year. The 2011 RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 will be available in showrooms in the Netherlands from August.
The 2011 RM-Z250
Suzuki's RM-Z250, which performed well in a variety of tests (including the MasterClass test and our own test) gets a completely new look for 2011. At least according to the press text. The new graphics and the black number plate on the front are not immediately shocking, although they do look neat. The engine is equipped with Suzuki's ingenious electronic fuel injection system and ensures perfect power delivery at all speeds. In addition, the polished connecting rod enables a maximum speed of no less than 13.500 rpm. The Suzuki MX2 motorcycle is already supplied with wave brake discs and a Renthal Fatbar handlebar. The suspension is provided by Showa both front and rear. According to Suzuki, we can expect a lot from this in terms of balance and stiffness.
The 2011 RM-Z450
The RM-Z450 has also received a visual refresh thanks to changed graphics and a completely white front number plate. Furthermore, the machine of Ryan Dungey, Clément Desalle and co is of course equipped with electronic fuel injection. It's a matter of the ability to dose properly. Thanks to a light and slim chassis, the Soes should also score well in terms of handling for riders of all levels... Just like its little brother, the RM-Z450 is also equipped with wave discs and a Renthal Fatbar handlebar as standard.
The 2011 Suzuki RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 will be available at Suzuki Motocross dealers in mid-August 2010, and the Suzuki RM85 will also be available around this time. The new pricing will be announced soon. For more information about the Suzuki Motocross models, you can also visit www.suzuki.nl
