Injury for Marvin van Daele
Marvin van Daele took part in the VMCF race in Koningshooikt this weekend: After a strong first series, Marvin also took a holeshot in the second series. He was immediately able to open a gap with his pursuers, but during the dismount his front wheel slipped and he fell. He was able to get back up straight away, but the pursuing pilots did not see him behind the dismount and could no longer avoid him. The result was a serious crash and Marvin had to be taken to hospital. An upper arm fracture was initially suspected, but after initial examinations this could be ruled out.
Today, after the necessary examinations, it turned out that his biceps muscle was torn. This could only be solved surgically and Marvin already underwent the operation tonight.
The first conversation with the doctor showed that recovery will take several weeks, but as we already know Smarry, he will not let himself be contained so quickly. He is currently in severe pain and we are waiting for the doctor's report. We will certainly keep you informed!
