ADAC MX Masters: Le Panda wins in Aichwald
There was also a classic on the program in Germany today because Aichwald, the third round of the ADAC MX Masters, was in its 50th edition. Just like in Kester, a Suzuki stood on the highest scaffold. Desalle won the two heats ahead of Rui Goncalves and Ken Roczen (Teka Suzuki Europa World MX2). The young Jeremy Delincé finished 7th, Kevin Wouts was 17th. Check the results in the MX1 here.
Desalle did not face much opposition in Germany, so he rode to two easy victories. KTM's SX-F 350 ambassador Rui Goncalves also finished second. Defending champion had a difficult day due to two bad starts. To make matters worse, Roczen had also crashed early in the first series.
In the MX2 Youngster Cup, Dennis Ullrich and Lars Oldekamp shared the spoils, but Oldenkamp (1-2) took the overall. Waaslander Jens Poppe finished ninth. You will find the full result here. In the MX Junior Cup, German Marco König (1-1) defeated Dutch talent Luca Nijenhuis (2-2). Brent Van Doninck finished fourth (6-3). Here you see the complete 85cc results.
Clement Desalle: “Today was a great training for the Grand Prix of Teutschenthal next week. I love the course in Aichwald and I had a great time. Personally, I thought this kind of natural circuit was better than a lot of GP circuits.”
Rui Goncalves: “I had two decent races and I really enjoyed the circuit. This was certainly good preparation for the German GP next week.”
