RIP Andrew McFarlane
In the third round of the Australian MX Championship, 33-year-old Mcfarlane had a serious crash. “Sharky” suffered serious head wounds and died shortly afterwards from his injuries. The sympathetic Australian competed in the World Cup in the early 2000s, culminating in a second place in the World Cup after Cairoli. During his GP career, Andrew spent most of his time in Belgium. McFarlane then moved to the states and rode for several major teams there. This year he was in his last year in his home country…
The sport not only loses a great rider but also a great personality… RIP Andrew
