Raceltaten weekend 20/21-3
No major competitions in the Low Countries this weekend for the GP motocross riders, but there were some other national championships where they could participate. National championship competitions were held in Italy, France and England.
In Italian San Severino the fourth stage of the Italian championship was held. The winner of the first two matches David Philipaerts was not present, but the reigning world champion Tony Cairoli and his teammate Max Nagl were present for this match. The KTM riders each shared a victory in the MX1 class but Nagl emerged victorious with his victory in the second moto. Tanel Leok finished third with two third places and was the leader in the championship David Guarneri came fourth. Manuel Priem finished eighth in the first heat but does not appear in the results of the second heat. Guarneri's fourth place was enough to win the Italian title. He succeeds his teammate Tanel Leok, who finished second in the final standings. A nice boost for Steven Letani, who, after last year's Belgian title with Desalle, also has a national title this year with the LS team!
In the MX2 class the victory this time went to Harry Kullas. The Estonian Finn benefited from a poorer first series Christopher Charlier to take the final victory. Charlier is champion ahead of Schiffer and Kullas.
