Boy De Waal wins 85cc in Halle
After his ONK victory in Mill, Micha-Boy de Waal was also the strongest today in Halle. The Rush 'n Brush-Suzuki rider won both heats. Brian Bogers came second, ahead of Freek Van der Vlist. The Belgian promise Brent Van Doninck did not get further than 13th place in the first series. In the second moto Brent came third. The very young Davy Pootjes finished seventh twice.

- Brian Bogers (NL/KTM) 2+2= 44 pts
- Freek Van Der Vlist (NL/Suzuki) 3 +6= 35 pts
- Luca Nijenhuis (NL/Yamaha) 5+4= 34 pts
- Niels Van Boxtel (NL/KTM) 4+10= 29 pts
