Changes to the Motocross World Championship calendars
The FIM announced some changes to the MX World Championship calendars yesterday. The Latvian GP in Kegums has been brought forward from July 17 and 18 to June 26 and 27. Veterans also take action during the Latvian GP. By moving Kegums, the German GP in Teutschenthal (one week earlier) and the Swedish GP, one week after the Latvian GP, fit in nicely. That makes a difference if you are already in the area.
In the MX3 World Championship/MX2 European Championship, the Danish GP - scheduled for August 29 in Randers - will disappear from the calendar.
The first German GP in the Sidecar Cross World Championship on July 11 will move from Reutlingen to Strassbessenbach.
