Ricoo MX clothing
When design and technology meet, the Ricoo off-road clothing is an impressive result. This clothing line is by Italian designer Fabrizio Ricupito. This man, who is himself a fanatic motocross rider, made his mark in the motorcycle industry, but also outside of it as an interior designer. He already made a design for helmet manufacturer Boeri in 1993, later Clover, Nava, Tecnosel and even Vertemati came knocking on his door.
The clothing presented during the last edition of Eicma consists of two lines. The V9 and Th01, where the V9 goes through life as a kind of vintage clothing, say old school looks with top of the bill technology. For example, a lot of time was spent pursuing the perfect fit through the frequent use of stretch and well-thought-out closure systems, wear resistance through the right choice of fabrics and leather and in allowing the clothing to 'breathe' by installing systems that provide fresh allow air to pass through, but not allow water to enter. The V9 line is also unique because of the possibility of combining different trousers and jerseys.
The Th01 is a lot more modern in terms of looks, but comes very close to the V9 line when it comes to technology. Where the V9 trousers have leather at the knees, the Th01 has a 'heavy duty' plastic. Both series have matching gloves in different color schemes. In addition, a limited, but very nice casual clothing line has also been released and a wind stopper has been developed for those who drive through. This can be used on both road and off-road surfaces. We are currently working hard on enduro vests and off-road protection.
Both clothing lines will be available by the end of February, but can be admired earlier at importer and distributor Motodeluxe. More information can be obtained at www.ricoo.it or from Motodeluxe on +32 488 22 78 99.
