Bubba Out!
What was supposed to be a spectacular match between Stewart and Reed at the beginning of this year only turned out completely differently four weeks after the start of the season. After Reed's absence, Stewart now also has to miss a few weeks. After his fall a few weeks ago, Stewart continued to experience wrist problems. Previous scans had shown no fracture, but the last MRI showed the scaphoid bone to be broken.
It was decided to operate on the leg immediately, which will result in Stewart being out for several weeks. According to his team manager Larry Brooks, Stewart wants to make his comeback as quickly as possible and will therefore be evaluated week by week until he is completely healed.
The championship match will now take on a completely different dimension. With Stewart and Reed out, the track is now open to Dungey, Villopoto, Hill and perhaps a few more outsiders. It promises to be exciting!
