Yerki Janvier joins forces with TM
After a title at the BMB promises last year, 17-year-old Janvier confirmed this year with a title at the Nationals MX2. Then you are doing well! They must have thought that at TM too. Next season Janvier can count on the support of TM as an official pilot in the new European Championship 125cc two-stroke. The European Championships will be held as part of the supporting program of 8 motocross GPs.
We let Yerki, who is perfectly bilingual, speak for himself. “Through an acquaintance of ours at TM in Italy, I got the chance to try the bike over there. And I quickly got the hang of it! The engine is good and the frame is very light and manageable. Before that test I had never seen a TM 125 up close, but I was quickly convinced.”
It is now a matter of Janvier gaining as much experience as possible with the TM in order to pick up the automatic skills of riding a 125cc 2T. “Of course, after two years on a 250, I have lost a lot of reflexes in terms of 125cc riding style. Just think of switching gears a lot in bends. That's why I really want to have maximum track time to fully customize the ™. I don't know yet which preparation races I will do before the European Championship starts, but I will definitely participate in the 6 races of the Radson MX2 Trophy, the French and the German championship. All on the 125cc!”
