Changes Belgian enduro
The BMB enduro working group met several times at the end of the season to finalize the 2010 rule changes. Below you will find an overview of the most important changes that will be submitted to the Board of Directors:
– The cylinder capacities of the groups have been changed:
Enduro 1 : from 51cc to 125cc 2T from 51cc to 250cc 4T
Enduro 2 : from 126cc to 250cc 2T from 251cc to 450cc 4T
Enduro 3 : from 251cc to 500cc 2T from 451cc to 650cc 4T
Only the motorcycle's certificate of conformity will serve as proof of the choice of the group.
– To encourage a new category for youth, “Promises”: category open to riders whose age is between 18 and 23 at the time of taking out the annual permit. Course: minimum 160 km with a maximum of 5 laps.
– Registrations will need to be made in advance. Participants must register via the BMB website at least 2 weeks before the competition. Those who do not have access to the internet will have to submit their registration document to the BMB secretariat at least three weeks before the competition. The amount of the participation fee must be paid into the account of the organizer concerned at least 6 working days before the competition. The account number will be stated on each registration. Any shortcoming in this procedure will automatically lead to a valuation of 50% of the total registration amount. Registration will be free for young people under the age of 18.
– Uniformization of the allocated times for all categories.
– Mandatory promotion of the riders for 2011: the first 5 Randonneurs rise to Juniors, the first 5 Juniors from the scratch classification rise to Nationals; the first 5 Nationals from the scratch classification advance to the Inters; the first promise of the scratch classification will be Inter.
