Beach race St Léger de Balson: Yentel Martens dominates, Fura wins
It was an animated and strange race today in Saint Léger de Balson, the third race of the 24MX French beach racing championship. Yentel Martens (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna) won the race well, but was later disqualified, giving Richard Fura (Team SR Motoblouz Honda) the victory.
Although Martens crossed the line first, he was subsequently disqualified. Yentel had passed the pit lane and then drove back. A small mistake with serious consequences. Nathan Watson also received a penalty and ultimately finished 11th. Thanks to a strong Daymond Martens, second after Fura and Axel Van de Sande, there were two Belgians in the top 10. In the standings, Van de Sande now follows in second place, 18 points behind Fura. On Saturday Killigan Delroeux was the best among the Juniors. All results here.
