EMX300: Anderson takes the title, Vandueren a good third..
Briton Brad Anderson has been crowned the new European champion in the EMX300 class in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. In total, Anderson took two victories this season and was on the final podium in every match. The English KTM rider can therefore speak of a well-deserved overall victory in this championship. When you see that the Dutchman Mike Kras, who also took two victories on 44 points in the title race, ended up in second place. Third place in the championship goes to our compatriot Kenny Vandueren (103), who achieved his best results in Russia and Switzerland, where he was number three on the final podium.
The competition in Frauenfeld, Switzerland was won by the British James Dunn ahead of Anderson and Vandueren. Erik Willems, our second strong compatriot in this EMX300 championship, finished fifth in Switzerland, which puts him in a nice fourth place in the final championship standings. Greg Smets only managed a good fourth place in the second series and unfortunately the championship ended just outside the top ten in eleventh place.
