Hakon Osterhagen back in the top ten!
The sixth race of the European 125cc Championship went well for CreyMert Racing. On the new Arroyomolinos circuit, Hakon Osterhagen managed to finish eleventh in the daily rankings. The KTM rider finished eighth and fourteenth during the heats, which means he also makes up two places in the standings. The victory went to Andrea Bonacorsi, he is also well in the lead.
EMX125:
In the free practice Hakon managed to record the third fastest time, but during the timed practice he had to be satisfied with seventh place. The Norwegian is certainly not and he starts the first heat with enthusiasm. The race starts well and the CreyMert Racing driver starts sixth. He manages to gain a position on the first lap, but the attack on fourth place does not end well. Fortunately, Hakon does not crash, but he loses places and comes out of the first round in tenth place. A position is taken back, but Prugnieres clearly has other plans. It is a beautiful fight in which Soulimani also gets involved. The stakes are sixth place and the teenagers are making it very difficult for each other. The Belgian team enjoys their rider who tries everything to cross the finish line in sixth place. Unfortunately that doesn't work, Prugnieres finishes sixth ahead of Soulimani and Hakon takes eighth place this round.
The second heat does not start well for Hakon, who sees his neighbor leave a little better and then slams the door shut. Hakon manages to hold on and can still come out of the first full round as fourteenth. The 16-year-old rider then manages to work his way forward with great control. After almost twenty minutes of the match, Hakon enters the top ten and follows the Swede Palsson. In his drive, the FXR-clad rider wants a little too much, causing him to fall! All the hard work was for nothing because Hakon ended up in fourteenth place again! He manages to hold on to this until the finish flag. Hakon is therefore eleventh overall, and in the standings he now occupies fifteenth place.
Next game:
The European 125cc Championship continues next week at the Lommel circuit. This will be followed by two more races on the famous tough sand circuit on Marie Curiestraat.
