Bihr and IP Store join forces!
After the takeover of Rino Trading by Hoco Parts, another important shift is taking place in the Belgian motorcycle landscape. Bihr announced today that it has acquired 100% of IP Store. IP Store is not only the leading distributor of motorcycle tires in Belgium, but also has brands such as Sidi, Scott, AGV and Dainese in its portfolio.
As a result of this agreement, Bernard De Longueville, is currently CEO of IP Store and one of the most well-known two-wheeler professionals in Belgium, appointed Sales Director Belgium for Bihr. The purpose of the transaction is twofold: firstly, Bihr will further strengthen its commercial footprint in Belgium through the acquisition of IP Store.
Subsequently, the transaction will allow IP Store customers to benefit from the increased product offering in the very short term Bhr. Conversely, Bihr customers in Belgium will soon benefit from the products distributed exclusively by IP Store.
“We are very happy to work with IP Store,” said Christophe Piron, CEO of Bihr. “With this transaction, Bihr not only becomes the clear leader in the distribution of motorcycle tires in Belgium, but we also have the opportunity to add a number of brands that we were missing to Bihr's product offering.”
Finally, this transaction will also strengthen Bihr's management team because with the appointment of Bernard De Longueville as Sales Director Belgium, Dominique Jamar, - who until now has been commercially responsible for Belgium - can fully focus on Business Development (new products, services and regions). “I am very pleased that Bernard is taking charge of the sales organization of Bihr Belgium. He is probably one of the most experienced and well-known persons on our Belgian market,” said Dominique Jamar.
“While I continue to keep a close eye on the Belgian market, I will have much more time in the coming months to focus on developing new services and to fully dedicate myself to developing sales in the new markets we are entering. entered last year,” she added.
