ZOn Saturday, the penultimate round of the Italian Elite Championship was held in Faenza. Jan Pancar won both races in the MX1 and remains in the lead. Only Ivo Monticelli and Alessandro Lupino can mathematically keep up with the Slovenian. In the MX2, Valerio Lata remains the leader, despite a retirement.
Pancar won both races in Faenza and leads Isak Gifting, Nicolas Lapucci, Lupino, and Monticelli in the final standings. Please note, there are 500 points to be earned per race.
Race leader Valerio Lata retired in the first race, but he did win the second. The victory went to Maxime Grau, ahead of Simone Mancini and Niccolo Alvisi. Here too, Grau and Alvisi still stand a chance at the title.
