The final race of the French elite championship was contested in Iffendic, Brittany, about 40 km west of Rennes.
Francisco Garcia was unable to celebrate his title in style. In the first race, he shone behind the unassailable Mathis Valin. In the final race, however, he had a poor start and struggled his way to fifth place before dropping out of the race.
Valin also won the final series and leads Mathys Boisrame and Jake Cannon in the final standings.
Garcia becomes the new champion, ahead of his teammate Cannon and Alexis Fueri.
The victory in the MX1 day classification was a practice run for world champion Romain Febvre. He won both races. The first ahead of Kevin Horgmo, the second ahead of Romain Pape, who also finished second in the overall standings ahead of Horgmo, Maxime Desprey, and Jason Clermont.
The title goes to Desprey ahead of Horgmo and Adrien Malaval.
