DThis weekend (May 9 and 10), the ADAC MX Masters heads to the deep sand of Dreetz in northeastern Germany for the second round of the season. Four classes will be on the starting grid in Brandenburg: ADAC MX Masters, MX Youngster Cup, MX Junior Cup 125, and MX Junior Cup 85.
Among the guest riders stands one notable name: reigning MX2 World Champion Simon Längenfelder, who makes his racing debut for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing on the Dreetz 450cc.

Van de Moosdijk wants to strike back.
In the general classification, Max Nagl (Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing) is in the lead after a strong opening round. Lowlander Roan van de Moosdijk (KTM Kosak Racing Team) lost hardly any ground and wants to turn the tide immediately in Dreetz — the reigning champion knows the sand of Dreetz like the back of his hand and is consistently among the favorites for the podium on this type of surface.
Tom Koch (KTM Sarholz Racing Team) impressed on his comeback after a year's absence from the ADAC MX Masters. Crowd favorite Maximilian Spies (Becker Racing) is also among the German outsiders for top results.
International armada in the sandbox
Dreetz is a real sandpit and guarantees heavy lines towards the end of every race. Alongside Van de Moosdijk, fellow Dutchman Dave Kooiker (WPM Motors GasGas) will also be joining the field, together with a broad international field: Jordi Tixier (KMP-Honda-Racing powered by DVAG), Harri Kullas and Jere Haavisto (Schmicker Silver Racing), Jörgen-Matthias Talviku (SHR Motorsports by Hartje), Marcel Stauffer (Osicka MX Team), Jakub Teresak (Visualz Production), and Nico Greutmann (MX-Academy Honda Racing by Meuwissen Motorsports), who has moved up to the top class this season. Yuki Okura (Honda Dream Racing Bells) will also be competing — the Japanese rider is racing in several European races with factory support from Honda to gain experience.

Smulders as leader in Youngster Cup
Participants from more than 25 countries will be in action in the junior classes. In the MX Youngster Cup, SixtySeven Racing rider Scott Smulders (pictured above) arrives in Dreetz as the overall leader — the Dutchman holds the red plate and is one of the highlights of the weekend.
In the MX Junior Cup 125, Emil Ziemer (Motobike Racing Team) and Lucas Leok (KTM MX Futures) are tied on points at the top. In the youngest class, the MX Junior Cup 85, Kenzo Jaspers of AK Bouw-Hutten Metaal Junior MX Team (pictured below) starts as the leader — once again a Dutchman with the red plate setting the pace.
