ALast Sunday, Maureen Zweers won another race in the women's class. At MX park Zaarderheiken of MC Venlo-Blerick, she finished ahead of Kaylee van Dam based on the second race, securing a second and a first place in the heats.

Millie Welters joined the podium with a third and fourth place in the heats. Maylinn-Rose Sterk and Tara Noorman completed the top five.

The women's class continues the title fight this coming Sunday during the MON national motocross in Eersel.

First heat

Zoë Cobussen takes the holeshot ahead of Elinor Shahar (Isr), Van Dam, Welters, and Noorman. By the third lap, Van Dam has taken the lead. Shahar has dropped back. As a result, Welters is in third place. Zweers starts the heat poorly and has since climbed from last place to fourth. Sterk follows closely behind her. Zweers continues her charge and moves into second place halfway through the heat. Cobussen then sees Welters and Noorman pass her as well. Zweers manages to close the gap to Van Dam. However, Van Dam holds her ground and wins the heat ahead of Zweers. Welters follows in third place, a considerable distance behind, with Cobussen close behind, who has once again overtaken Noorman.

Second heat

Welters takes the best start and crosses the first checkpoint in first place, ahead of Zweers, Van Dam, Cobussen, and Sarah Bergsma. Zweers and Van Dam pass Welters on the second lap. The tension at the front quickly dissipates. Zweers is clearly the strongest in this heat and wins it comfortably ahead of Van Dam. Behind them, Welters soon has to let Sterk pass. Noorman quickly overtakes Sarah Bergsma and manages to stay in fifth place for a long time. There are no further position changes in the battle for third place. Sterk therefore finishes third, ahead of Welters. Noorman runs into trouble two laps before the checkered flag falls and drops out. She does, however, manage to keep Cobussen behind her.
