IIn the thin high mountains of Denver, Haiden Deegan left no doubt about his form. During the sixteenth round of the AMA Supercross, the young American completely dominated the race and set a new milestone in the 250 class.

At the Empower Field stadium at Mile High in Denver, the finals began with a minor surprise: Max Anstie took the holeshot and briefly appeared to be calling the shots. But before the end of the opening round, Deegan restored order and decisively took the lead. Behind him, Lux Turner tried to hang on, but a mistake cost him precious time. As a result, Levi Kitchen moved up to second place, with Ryder DiFrancesco close behind in third. Turner subsequently fell further back, which also allowed Anstie to move up the leaderboard again.

Meanwhile, at the front, Deegan rode his own pace unchallenged. Halfway through the race, the gap to Kitchen was well over five seconds, and that margin remained stable until the finish. Kitchen and DiFrancesco, in turn, controlled the rest of the field and comfortably secured the podium places.

Later in the race, the rise of debutant Kayden Minear stood out. After a run through the repechages, he impressively worked his way up to the top five and finished his first Supercross final in fifth place. For Cameron McAdoo, it was a more difficult comeback. After a crash at the start, he had to come back from far behind and ultimately finished thirteenth.

At the front, Deegan's victory was never in danger. He controlled the race from start to finish and thus recorded his fourteenth win in the 250 class. With that, he climbs alone to third place on the all-time rankingNow only the final 250th race of his career, and also of the supercross season, remains: the East-West shoot-out in Salt Lake City.
