HAfter all, it was this class that had its first race last weekend in Argentina, so close to the Chilean border. Surprises? Not really, Längenfelder hit the nail on the head on Sunday. Sachan Coenen: too boisterous, Everts ailing, and strong Triumph riders?

Liam Everts – Nestaan Husqvarna"It feels good to be racing again. Sunday morning was quite tough because I woke up a bit sick. I wasn't sure how it would go. The first race was tricky after the start. I stayed calm, and seventh place was ultimately a positive. In the second moto, I had a great start. I was able to lead for a time, which felt good. Third place, just off the podium, is a solid start to the championship."

Simon Längenfelder – KTM"A fantastic weekend. Yesterday hurt; I was perhaps too aggressive. But to take the 1-1 lead from the outside of the gate… I'm incredibly happy. The bike worked perfectly."
Sacha Coenen – KTM"A good win on Saturday. On Sunday, my start in the first moto was bad. I fought my way back to second place, but suffered from arm pump. In the second race, two riders in front of me collided in the air on the first jump. I couldn't avoid them. Physically, I'm fine, on to Spain."
Mathis Valin – Kawasaki: We scored good points this weekend. We need to work on overtaking more quickly. I had difficult starts in both motos. Because of that, I was stuck behind slower guys for too long. I couldn't really find my rhythm.
Janis Reisulis –Yamaha: It was a really good day and a positive way to start the season. I was happy with my first start. There was no pressure, and I felt comfortable. The second moto started a bit slower. The speed was there all day. I still need to work on better race management. I want to push a bit harder in the final laps. I realize I've made some significant steps forward compared to the European Championship. Overall, I'm happy with my best first race ever in a championship.
Karlis Reisulis –Yamaha: Overall, it was a pretty positive day. Especially in the second moto. In the first race, I felt good at the start. Later, I struggled with arm pump. I definitely need to work on my race rhythm. The second moto went much better. I got the holeshot and was up front for a long time. Later in the race, I made a few mistakes and lost a few positions. In the end, I was even close to fourth place. It was a good experience and something positive to build on.
Noël Zanocz – KTM Van Venrooij: The track in Argentina was really fast, and the layout was pretty cool. The surface was quite strange, with sharp cuts on the fast section. That's not the best combination, but it was nice. Going to Argentina was a great experience. I enjoyed it. I struggled quite a bit, but it's a good foundation to build on. We'll take the positives and learn from the negatives.
Valerio Lata – Honda"This was definitely a day to forget. Eighth place in the first moto wasn't a performance I could be satisfied with. I was incredibly motivated for the second moto and had a good start. Unfortunately, another rider made a mistake in the first corner, forcing me to back off. I tried to recover. Unfortunately, I landed on top of another rider who was also involved in the chaos. It's a huge shame, but the goal now is to be fully prepared again in Spain in a few weeks."

Guillem Farres – Triumph"In the opening stages of the first moto, I was a bit cautious. However, as the race progressed, I started to feel better, which allowed me to work my way up to third place. I was very happy with that result. In the second race, my start wasn't the best. After a few quick overtakes, I moved up to third place. I was battling with a few riders and pushing hard. After a small mistake, I went off the track and lost ground. From that moment on, I focused on finishing the race and finished fourth."

Camden McLellan – Triumph"It was a good weekend for us in Argentina. I finished third overall and shared a double podium for the team with Guillem. It was a great way to start the season. Sunday was definitely better for me. I was still struggling a bit with the starts. I managed to make up ground quickly in the first corners. In the first moto, I found a good rhythm. A small mistake and a crash cost me a lot of time. After that, I fought back well and finished just outside the top five. In the second moto, I had a slightly better start and was able to work my way through the field with several overtakes. I managed to hold on until the end of the race. I got close to the riders ahead of me, but just ran out of time."
