WWhat began with a fierce sprint to the first corner evolved into a controlled masterclass and a new twist in the championship. The gaps narrowed, the pressure mounted – and the battle for the Red Plate has truly begun!
Hammaker takes the holeshot and doesn't give it up
When the gate dropped, Seth Hammaker was the fastest to react. The Kawasaki rider dived into the first corner as the leader and immediately took control. Jo Shimoda and Nate Thrasher followed in his wake, but the leader was never truly under pressure.
Lap after lap, Hammaker extended his lead. While the battle raged behind him, he remained calm and flawless. Without a moment of panic, he controlled the pace and rode unchallenged to victory. At the finish, his lead was over four seconds.

Davies comes from behind again, Shimoda goes down
Behind the leader, a completely different story unfolded. New Zealander Cole Davies (Photo) rode a strong race. After starting outside the top ten, he worked his way up with impressive pace and fought his way to second place.
Pierce Brown, who was leading the standings with the Red Plate, rode a consistent race in the leading group and secured third place.
For a long time, it looked like Jo Shimoda had more in store. The Honda rider spent most of the race in second place, but on lap ten, things went wrong. A crash cost him valuable time and positions. Ultimately, he had to settle for fourth place.
The top five was completed by Daxton Bennick, who once again confirmed his place among the fastest men in the field. Further back in the peloton, Swiss rider Valentin Guillod took the checkered flag in fourteenth place.
Red Plate stays with Brown
With his third-place finish, Pierce Brown retains the lead in the 250SX East Coast standings. However, his lead is now just two points over recent Daytona winner Seth Hammaker, who has moved up to second place in the standings. Jo Shimoda's crash drops him to third in the standings. The title race is therefore more exciting than ever – one mistake can change everything. If this level continues, we can expect some spectacular weeks ahead.
