DSpanish multiple world champion Jorge Prado, who currently competes in the American Supercross Championship, injured his shoulder during the second qualifying session.

The KTM rider, who was really starting to find his feet in supercross, had set the fastest lap time in the first qualifying session. A time that also held true during the second qualifying session. Unfortunately, the likeable Spaniard himself didn't hold his own. While trying out an experimental line, he didn't quite go as planned, causing him to be thrown with considerable force into the shoulder of the next corner. It was immediately clear that he was suffering from pain in his right shoulder. A shoulder that reportedly still contained metal from an injury he sustained last season.

After the first X-rays at the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Unit, nothing seemed broken at first glance. However, at the start of Jorge Prado's heat, the KTM rider immediately left the circuit after the first corner and then left the stadium. We don't yet know exactly what happened, but we'll be monitoring it closely.
