VHaiden Deegan's 250West SX victory didn't come without a fight. In a thrilling 250SX main event, Deegan had to give it his all to hold off Levi Kitchen after an intense battle that lasted until the final lap. The race was certainly one of the most spectacular of the season so far!

The start was razor-sharp: Max Anstie was the first to dive into the corner, with Cameron McAdoo close behind. That scenario didn't last long, as Haiden Deegan immediately moved up and began chasing the leader. Behind them, Levi Kitchen had a difficult opening lap after a few delays, but once he found his rhythm, he started making up positions like a madman.

Kitchen found good lines in the sand and rhythm sections and worked his way to the front at lightning speed. With a tight inside line and a perfect jump combination, he suddenly moved up to second place. Deegan had meanwhile opened up a small gap, but it began to shrink lap by lap. Halfway through the race, the crowd erupted when Kitchen dove inside and took the lead.

What followed was pure spectacle. Deegan kept pushing, had to fight through a few backmarkers, and even experienced a perilous moment that nearly brought him to a standstill. Kitchen briefly seemed to have control, but a small mistake gave Deegan the opportunity to fight back. The two went wheel-to-wheel around the track for several laps, constantly swapping positions, and neither gave an inch away.

In the final minute, Deegan launched his decisive attack. He opened up a small lead and kept his composure throughout the final lap. Kitchen gave it his all but came up just short of launching a final attack. Deegan thus secured a narrow but impressive victory, ahead of Kitchen and Anstie. Ryder DiFrancesco and Cameron McAdoo rounded out the top five after a thrilling battle.
