EAround a hundred riders lined up at the start of the Espoirs race at the 50th Le Touquet Enduropale on Saturday morning. Tim Lopes missed the championship start and won in Grayan a few weeks ago. Today, Tim Lopes treated himself to another victory.
Behind him is our compatriot Timeo Mohring, who takes second place after a fantastic race. Mohring thus secures the title of French sand champion in the category after a season in which he demonstrated unfailing consistency. In second place in the competition, Sacha Goblet ends his sand season with a major disappointment. While he took third place on Saturday morning on the beach of Le Touquet, a mechanical problem abruptly ended his podium aspirations with less than three laps to go.
