MMotovation Motosport Husqvarna is taking a major step in 2026. The well-known youth team is entering its sixth season, having switched from KTM to Husqvarna. With Dani Heitink (16) and Dean Gregoire (15), Motovation is fielding two top Dutch talents for the EMX250!

team manager Pybe Lommen continues to build on an ambitious project in close collaboration with the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Team.

Newcomer Heitink makes his debut in EMX250

Dad think (19) comes over from the Yamaha Europe EMX125 team, where he has become a regular in recent seasons. The former 85cc world champion achieved the European Championship 125cc He achieved multiple podium finishes and finished 2025 in 5th place overall. He also gained valuable experience in international competitions and national championships.

This winter, Heitink switched to the powerful 250cc four-stroke. The rider from Overijssel completed targeted training camps abroad and is now feeling increasingly comfortable on the Husqvarna FC250. The collaboration with Motovation Motosport offers him the ideal environment to grow.

“This is a new challenge for me”, says Heitink. "I've had some strong years with Yamaha, but at Motovation, I can grow again. Everyone here is professional and focused. Preparation is going well, and I'm really looking forward to the first races."

His program starts on February 22 in Sommières (France), followed by the Dutch MX Season Opener in Lierop on March 1.

Dean Gregoire: third season at Motovation

The 15 year old Dean Gregoire remains loyal to the team and will drive his third consecutive season for it in 2026 Motovation MotosportLast year, Dean made an impressive MX2 debut at the Keiheuvel International Motocross in Balen. He finished 4th, behind two MX2 GP riders.

Gregoire kicks off his season this weekend in the legendary beach race of Le Touquet. He then rode with Heitink in Sommières and Lierop. The continuity within the team gives him a clear advantage: he knows the working methods, the equipment, and the expectations.

Pybe Lommen is building a growth structure

With two young, hungry drivers, team manager Pybe Lommen a major step forward with its structure. Also the support of top brands such as Husqvarna, FMF, Dunlop, Motorex, Alpinestars, ProTaper and Nesta underlines the belief in the potential of the drivers and the team.

We're curious to see how Heitink and Gregoire perform in the fiercely contested EMX250. Recent examples show what's possible for newcomers – Noel Zanocz became vice-champion last year as a debutant, Mathis Valin immediately won the title as a rookie in 2024.

The program EMX250 Championship starts on March 21 in Andalusia (Spain).
