Robbe De Veene is a sidecar passenger with Marvin Vanluchene in 2026!

ZIt has just been announced that Belgian Robbe de Veene is the new sidecar passenger for multiple World Sidecarcross Champion Marvin Vanluchene.

The sidecarcross rider from Oostrozebeke had to find a new passenger when Frenchman Nicolas Musset announced last week that he could not continue due to family circumstances. Vanluchene had to rush to find a replacement.
Robbe de Veene, who was originally supposed to take a break for a year, has been called upon to fulfill his childhood dream and is now joining Team Vanluchene as a passenger. Vanluchene-De Veene already rode together for Team Belgium in the 2024 Sidecarcross of Nations. That collaboration went more smoothly than expected and will surprisingly have a much bigger follow-up in 2026.
In the late preparation phase of 2026, a completely Belgian Sidecarcross team suddenly emerged, with full focus on the world title.
In 2024, Vanluchene had also been late in calling up his sidecar passenger for that year, but with Glenn Janssens, this did lead to the Sidecarcross World Title at the end of that season!
So the competition has been warned for team Vanluchene-De Veene!
