MTomorrow, Friday, January 16th, and the day after tomorrow, Saturday, January 17th, the Zeelandhallen will be the scene of the 32nd Supercross of Goes. With a strong international field of participants in SX1 and SX2, the chance of a big name winner is guaranteed.

Saturday night is now completely sold out, and tickets for Friday are only available at the box office. One question remains: who will succeed Julien Lebeau as the winner of the Superfinal?

Strong French bloc, but nothing is certain

Last year, the podium was entirely French, with Julien Lebeau ahead of Cédric Soubeyras and Boris Maillard. These same names return to Goes, but this time they face competition from a wider range of backgrounds.

The Inter class (SX1 and SX2) features riders from the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, and Austria, among others. Repeat winners like Maillard and Calvin Fonveille know what it takes to win in Goes, but the competition is fiercer than ever.

On the compact track, designed by Rinus van de Ven, starts and details remain crucial to make the difference.

Van der Vegt Motors counts on Soubeyras

Van der Vegt Motors from Oudleusen once again relies on experience and the form of the moment. Cedric Soubeyras (pictured above) is driving for the team for the third time and is in good form after victories in Stuttgart and Dortmund. In Goes, the newly crowned ADAC SX Cup winner previously won the SX1 classification and finished second in the Superfinal.

Teammate Jules Pietre is one of the key figures in SX2. The Frenchman is the reigning French 125cc Supercross champion (2023). He also won in Dortmund this season and finished the German SX2 Cup as runner-up. His technical riding style suits the compact circuit in Goes.

Lebeau leads strong BBR Team

The BBR Team will be presenting with a remarkably strong line-up. In SX1, Brice Maylin and home rider Mark Boot at the start. In SX2, defending champion Julien Lebeau (photo below), the Brit Matt Bayliss and the young Frenchman Hugo Manzato to score highly.

Lebeau returns to the team with which he won the Goes Supercross last year. During the breaks on Friday and Saturday evenings, you can stop by the BBR stand for autographs and posters.

GJV Feestbuske / KdO presents five top performers

The team name GJV Feestbuske / KdO sounds cheerful and fun. However, Gertjan Vorstenbosch and his team are bringing a serious and experienced lineup of SX specialists to Zeeland.

In SX1, two-time winner Boris Maillard will appear, assisted by the German Paul Haberland and the Frenchman Lucas ImbertImbert finished fifth in the Indian Super League at the start of this year, despite missing one round.

In SX2 the team is again counting on Calvin Fonveille (Photo below). The newly crowned German SX2 champion had already won twice before in Goes.

Last but not least, GJV Feestbuske / KdO also brings the German Carl Ostermann In contention in the SX2. Ostermann finished eighth on Sunday at the Paris Supercross a few months ago. The Husqvarna 250F rider is therefore certainly considered one of the outsiders in the 250 class.

Adrien Escoffier as figurehead for VMZ Racing

Also VMZ Racing, led by track designer and SX Goes winner Rinus van de Ven, brings a strong team to the start. The eye-catcher is Adrien Escoffier, two-time French Supercross champion and winner of the 2025 Arenacross World Tour.

In addition, appear Joan Cros (four-time Spanish Supercross champion and former AMA Supercross rider) and the French underdog Enzo Polias at the start.

The European champions of Electric Center Meijel

Vaclav Kovar is absent from Electric Center Meijel due to back problems, but with Jakub Teresak A solid replacement is ready. The Czech became EMX Open champion in 2024 and has already ridden several Motocross of Nations.

The Janssen brothers rely mainly on Marcel Stauffer, European 2-Stroke Champion and winner of the ADAC MX Masters. The Austrian finished an impressive fourth in the final SX2 heat in Dortmund. We're curious to see what he can bring to the table against the strong French delegation in Goes.

YSS-Nederveen wants to honor Mark Essens

After the tragic and far too early death of team manager Mark Essens the team wants to prove itself once again at the Goes Supercross, in honor of Mark.

This edition also includes YSS Europe Racing count on former Arenacross UK champion Charles Lefrançois. He was already the overall winner in Goes in 2017. Lefrançois gets the 26-year-old Frenchman Michael Lamarque next to him in the SX2.

In addition to the experience of Lefrançois and Lamarque, YSS focuses on youth with Paul Maigne, the French 125cc Supercross champion.

Friday: Americano Race and Youth

Friday is dedicated to youth, local riders, and the Americano Race in the Inter class: a knockout race with multiple starts and ultimately one winner.

Even in the youth series, international talent comes to the Zeelandhallen. John Slade Jr., the 2025 British AX Supermini champion, is immediately regarded as one of the favourites in the 85cc.

In the 50cc we will be looking forward to the young Zeeuw Christmas van de Velde. The 7-year-old Van de Velde will also defend the colours of VMZ Racing in Goes.
