KGear and gear specialist Afam managed its inventory for a long time from Nazareth-De Pinte in Belgium, near Ghent. Parent company Powersports Distribution Group has now moved these logistics functions to a warehouse in Vaulx-Milieu (near Lyon), which was already being used by its subsidiary France Equipment.
Originally French, Afam has had a noticeable presence in the off-road scene in recent years as a sponsor of, among others, Star Racing Yamaha, Fantic Factory Racing MXGP, The Baets Yamaha, Fantic Factory Racing Enduro and top French teams such as Motoblouz Honda Motul SR, GSM Yamaha, VHR Yamaha en Dragon'tek.
Despite the change in inventory management and logistics, sales, marketing and development still controlled from Nazareth. In total there are approximately 15 employees in Nazareth-De Pinte.
Since 2008, Afam has been having gears manufactured through CNC production in China production. The Afam Group also includes battery brands Shido en Nitro, as well as the oil and air filter brands Ison en M.I.W..
