NDutch 125cc champion Douwe Van Mechgelen is leaving the official Fantic EMX team. The young Belgian announced this himself on social media.
Douwe Van Mechgelen: My time with @fantic_factory_racing_emx over the past two years has been something truly special. We’ve shared some amazing moments together — from winning the Dutch Masters of Motocross 125cc title this year, to battling for top-5 finishes in the EMX125 class, top-3 moto results and wins, and countless podiums at national level.
I'm incredibly grateful to the entire team for the support, hard work, and trust they've shown me throughout this journey. We've grown tremendously together, and I'll always look back on this chapter with pride and appreciation.
But as the saying goes: all good things must come to an end. It's time for me to take a new step, and I'll be happy to share the next chapter in my career soon.
Thank you, Fantic Factory Racing EMX, for two fantastic years. On to the next chapter! And I wish you just as much success in the future. En A very special thanks to Daniele Marchese, perhaps the man with the biggest heart in the entire paddock.”
