If you win both series convincingly, you're the best man on the field. It was no different in Huldenberg. Behind Jonas Salaets, it was the quarter-liter Uwe De Waele and C-Jay Vanderelst who provided the spectacle.
In Huldenberg, Jonas Salaets immediately showed his strengths in the first moto. He took off, followed by Yoran Moens, Dylan Mayné, and C-Jay Vanderelst. From seventh place, Mike Gilot quickly moved up to second. Moens stayed on Gilot's heels, but after ten laps, he suddenly fell behind and dropped back to eleventh. This allowed Uwe De Waele, who had been yo-yoing back and forth beforehand, to take third place and hold on to it ahead of Bram Valckx and Vanderelst.
Vanderelst continued to surprise and held Salaets at bay for a while in the final heat. After four laps, he also had to let De Waele go. This would determine the result in the quarter-liter class. Mike Gilot couldn't move up so quickly this time. It took until the ninth lap before he passed Vanderelst, who would also be passed by Valckx.
Of course, Salaets emerged victorious overall. It was the quarter-liter engines that made it particularly exciting. They kept up the fight with the big bikes. De Waele emerged victorious ahead of Vanderelst.
