DThe VLM Inters provided exciting competition in Gierl. Cedric Grobben and Kevin Schellens emerged victorious, strengthening their positions in the Belgian Championship.

The Inters drove a new championship race in Gierle. In the first series Glenn Bielen the head start for Cedric Grobben, Brent Arden, Yentel martens en Arno Van Mieghem.


Nolan Cordens He had to move up from seventh place. Bielen's lead held for three laps until Grobben passed him. A short time later, Aerden followed Grobben's example and also overtook the holeshotter Bielen. Meanwhile, Cordens stormed forward, passing both Van Mieghem and Martens. Grobben didn't let Aerden get any closer and took the race victory by seven seconds. Bielen had to fight to keep teammate Cordens behind him.

In 250 cc we had a nice duel between Dieter Vromans en Kevin Schellens, which was ultimately decided in favor of Vromans. Guest rider Twan De Weerd came third. In the B class HAD Jamie Haanen hands full with Chiel Vanhaeren, but at the finish it was Haanen who won ahead of Vanhaeren and Raf Belmans.

In the second series, surprisingly Enzo Aerden The holeshot went to Martens and Brent Aerden. Brent immediately overtook his brother and seemed poised for victory. However, Grobben quickly moved up from the back after a slow start. While Brent tried to build a gap, Bielen and Grobben closed the gap. Meanwhile, Cordens overtook Martens for fourth place. Grobben overtook Bielen and headed for Brent. Halfway through the race, Grobben took the lead and held on to it. Cordens overtook Bielen for third place. Grobben thus consolidated his leading position in the Belgian Championship.

In 250 cc took this time Kevin Schellens the upper hand. He kept Vromans behind him, while De Weerd came third again. In the B class Vanhaeren led for a long time, with Haanen close behind. At the finish, Haanen again proved to be the strongest, ahead of Vanhaeren and Belmans.

Next week the Werner Renders memorial match on the program at the renovated Oosterbergen circuit in Tessenderlo. The organization is in the hands of the RW MX Team.
