DThe Dutch GP concluded the Western European chapter of the MXGP season. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing emerged from the heavy sands of Arnhem with even more honors, thanks to Jeffrey Herlings, who won every race on his 450 SX-F, and teammate Lucas Coenen, who finished second overall.

In the MX2 class, Andrea Adamo and Sacha Coenen secured second and third place with the KTM 250 SX-F. The team has already secured victories in either the MXGP or MX2 class in 13 of the 17 races held this season.

Jeffrey Herlings, MXGP winner:
I'm glad I was able to save energy in the first moto, because I needed it later! I remember when I was 18 and riding in the sand didn't tire me at all! In the second moto, I really pushed hard: Lucas had incredible speed, but my pace was high too. I'm really happy with my weekend and very satisfied with a 1-1-1. I'm already looking forward to Turkey in two weeks!

Lucas Coenen, 2e  in MXGP:
The starts were really bad today. I crashed and had to come from the back, and the same thing happened in the second moto. It was really tough for me, and I pushed so hard. I gave it everything I had, and I was close to passing him [Herlings] at the end. Generally, I can't afford mistakes like that. I need those points, so we have to fix the starts in the off week and then we'll be back at the front.

Andrew Adam, 2e  in MX2:
It was a solid weekend. I found my rhythm in the qualifying race, and today I think I could have done a bit better in both motos, maybe 2-2, but it's pretty hard to challenge Kay in the sand. Still, I'm pretty happy to have set the fastest lap in the second race, and we also picked up some good points in the championship. It's not over until it's over!

Sacha Cohen,  3rd in MX2:
I had a really good start in the first moto and built up a small gap, until I made a big mistake: I didn't have a good rhythm and just finished the race. The start was worse in the second, so I had to fight back. I'm feeling pretty good, and my confidence is there. We've worked hard, and it's starting to pay off.

Simon Laengenfelder,  6rd in MX2:
Not many positives this weekend, and a lot of bad luck. Starting from last wasn't the plan, and we know that starting positions are crucial at this track: moving up from 15th wasn't easy. Too many mistakes in the first moto, and then I still had to drop to 5th in the second. I felt okay in the sand... but today it just didn't work out.
