VLM Kampenhout: Cordens flanked by Aerden brothers!

OOn the well-organized circuit, near the Brussels Airport runway, the VLM drivers were given a well-organized circuit in Kampenhout. Nolan Cordens was the big winner in the Inters 500 (1-1) ahead of Brent (2-2) and Enzo Aerden (4-3).

The home crowd immediately got their money's worth with local rider and organiser Kenny Janssens in the lead, followed by Glenn Bielen, Jorre Hermans, Alex Viltard, Nolan Cordens and Brent Aerden.

Cordens quickly moved up to third place, with Brent Aerden close behind in fourth. Janssens, representing his own organization, continued to push hard for the lead ahead of Bielen. On lap five, Cordens caught up with teammate Bielen, after which the pace became too high for Janssens as well.

From the middle group came Enzo Aerden good looking, while also Karel Schepmans worked his way forward. Cordens built a lead over Brent Aerden and eventually overtook Janssens, who then also had to let Aerden pass. Two laps before the finish, Janssens injured his foot and was forced to abandon the race.

Brent Aerden closed in on lap after lap, but Nolan Cordens held on and took the win. Bielen finished third, ahead of Enzo Aerden, Schepmans, and Viltard.

In the 250cc class was Dieter Vroomans the strongest, for Marnic Lagrou en Yoran Moens.
In the Inters B the victory went to Jamie Haanen, who after a long chase finally passes Chiel Vanhaeren en Alexander Verbeeck came.

Cordens and the Aerden brothers color the final

The injured Kenny Janssens did not participate in the second round. Glenn Bielen got the best start but immediately fell, while also vromans fell at the start. Took the lead Nolan Cordens the lead, for Enzo Aerden.Following this were Alex Viltard, Yoran Moens, Jorre Hermans en Karel SchepmansBrent Aerden had to come from seventh place.

It took Brent a few laps to find his pace, while his brother Enzo made a strong impression. Halfway through the race, Brent had moved up to third place, but Cordens already had a comfortable lead. The sibling duel went in Brent's favor, but despite a strong comeback, Cordens was no longer catching.

Glenn Bielen impressed with a thundering catch-up race and finished fourth, followed by Viltard and Schepmans. The Aerden brothers were finally able to stand on the podium together again, although it was Nolan Cordens who stood on the highest scaffold.

In the 250cc took Yoran Moens the heat victory, but the overall victory went to Dieter Vroomans from Arendonk. Marnic Lagrou finished third. Among the B-riders, Haanen extended his winning streak, this time ahead of Vanhaeren. Raf Belmans took third place and also secured third place in the final classification thanks to a better second moto than Verbeeck.
