IIn his very last EMX125 race, Jarne Bervoets made his mark on his home crowd. Bervoets claimed his second overall victory of the season at Lommelwood, following his surprise victory in Castilla la Mancha.

For Belgian fans, Bervoets' success was a huge boost. International fans, of course, were focused on Nicolo Avisi and Mano Faure, the championship's top two.
