WK leader Simon Längenfelder just raced convincingly to his 6th race win of the season. The Red Bull KTM rider beat teammate Sacha Coenen and the surprising Andrea Adamo.

In the opening MX2 moto at Matterley Basin, Andrea Adamo took the holeshot ahead of Sacha Coenen and Oriol Oliver (Gabriel SS24 KTM). Oliver was in a hurry, however, and quickly took the lead from Adamo on the opening lap. Adamo made an early mistake and dropped back to 10th place — a costly blip in the championship battle.

Langenfelder, back in form in England where he booked his first World Championship victory, started off quietly but did find his rhythm. In the 5th lap he overtook Braceras for P3 and then went after Farres. In the meantime race leader Oliver crashed, allowing Langenfelder to move up. The German rode unchallenged to victory ahead of Coenen and Oliver. British Triumph has two riders in the top-5 with a 4th and 5th place for McLellan and Farres.

The latter was just a fraction faster than Liam Everts. World champion De Wolf, who started 6th, had to settle for 7th place.
