HThe 150th ADAC MX Masters event will take place in Dreetz on June 14 & 15, 2025. Jeffrey Herlings makes a guest appearance.
The third round of the ADAC MX Masters 2025 in Dreetz will also be the 150th event in the history of the series. As an anniversary gift to the fans, five-time motocross world champion Jeffrey Herlings has signed up for a guest start. The 2008 ADAC MX Junior Cup champion sees the races as the best training and wants to use Dreetz to gain more racing experience after an injury during the pre-season.
Herlings was once a prodigy in the Motocross World Championship. He won his first world championship event shortly after his debut at the age of 15 and became world champion a year later. In 2024, the 30-year-old equaled the record for most race wins in the world championship and most Grand Prix wins, which had stood since 2006.
Herlings has now stood on the top step of a world championship podium 107 times as overall winner and has become world champion five times. That the Dutchman would develop into one of the best motocross riders of all time, could only be suspected, but not known, during his first ADAC competition in 2006, in which he took part in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 in Tensfeld.
Herlings wants to use the ADAC MX Masters race in Dreetz to keep his momentum going for the next World Championship races. It will not be easy for reigning ADAC MX Masters champion Max Nagl and his competitors to keep the Dutchman, who is considered the best sand rider in the world, in his place on the sand track. The fans along the track will undoubtedly be the winners of Herlings' guest appearance, because such a top rider is rarely seen live.
Fans can collect autographs from Jeffrey Herlings and the other top drivers at the ADAC MX Masters truck during the lunch break in Dreetz on Sunday. Tickets for the event can be purchased online in advance at adac.de/mx-masters.
