Jarne Bervoets of the MJC Yamaha team finished fourth during the final of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Markelo. Bervoets rode two consistent heats and finished in fourth place in both the first and second heats.
Bervoets started the day enthusiastically. The track of Markelo was in perfect condition and he was looking forward to competing against his competitors. In the time training he pushed several times to set a good time on the clock and eventually came in fourth.
A good start in the first heat ensured that he was in the leading group in the first corner. However, on the slippery surface, he almost slid out of the corner, causing him to lose several places. He quickly took third place and managed to hold on to it for a long time. In the second half of the race, he had to give up third place and was eventually flagged off as fourth.
Bervoets was also in third place in the beginning of the second manche. This time he had to give up third place earlier. He remained calm and rode a well-considered race. This earned him fourth place again.
With two fourth places, Bervoets also finished fourth in the daily ranking. This coming weekend, Bervoets has a race for the EMX125 Championship on the program for Bervoets!
