Romain Febvre is doing well in the 500 class. He has won all four heats so far and has a 24-point lead over Jago Geerts. It is not the first time that Febvre has managed to win a Dutch title, because in 2011 he already managed to win the MX2 title. Kawasaki won the Dutch 2015 title for the last time in 500 with William Saris. Febvre is having a very strong season this year, because in addition to his leading position in the Dutch Masters of Motocross, he is also leading the MXGP world championship. In this championship, he has managed to achieve seven podium places out of eight races so far and he has won two Grand Prix. Next Sunday, Febvre will be in action in Markelo and will compete with Jeffrey Herlings, Brian Bogers and Jago Geerts.

Not only for Jago Geerts the Belgians have to go to Markelo. In the youth series two Belgians are in the lead. Two brothers, mind you! In the 85 cc Torre Van Mechgelen is leading the standings. The title is not yet in the bag because he only has a margin of three points on Casey Kartström and a little more on Gregor Lootus.

Big brother Douwe Van Mechgelen is also not on roses as leader in the 125 cc. Dean Gregoire is pretty close on his heels. The difference with Dani Heitink is a bit bigger.

The first champion will probably be crowned in the 250. Cas Valk will probably take the title in the first series on the Herikerberg. In the top ten of this class, no less than 8 WC or EC riders will start tomorrow.
