Zestien Inters at the start in egg-municipality Kruisem for the seventh MCLB race of the 2025 season. With ex-GP rider Jens Getteman, Jeffrey Dewulf got a serious challenger. The two tenors kept each other in good balance yesterday!
It was Dewulf who took the head start in the first manche and again applied his tried and tested recipe: take the lead and never give it up. Getteman came in second, but had to give up 19 seconds at the finish. Third man Mattis Meersschout crossed the finish line 30 seconds after Dewulf. In other words: Dewulf is fast.
In the quarter liters Ryan Dult was the fastest. With a sixth place in the scratch he just stayed ahead of his 250F colleague Avo Tack.
Resumption: Getteman strikes back, but Dewulf takes final victory
In the resumption it was Getteman who was the fastest. The GCT rider now turned the tables. Dewulf followed in the wake of the East Fleming, but did not succeed in passing him. Behind the leading duo, Mattis Meersschout and Greg Demeulemeester fought a fierce duel for third place, with Meersschout coming out on top. The series victory went to Getteman. Avo Tack was the fastest 250 rider in fifth place.
Podium places
The overall victory in the Inters 500 was - thanks to a better final time over both heats - for Jeffrey Dewulf. The KTM rider was flanked on the podium by Jens Getteman and Mattis Meersschout. In the quarter-liters, the victory went to Avo Tack, with Ryan Dult and Arne Beeusaert as numbers two and three.
