MXGP: No fractures for Maxime Renaux

DThe damage sustained by Maxime Renaux in Frauenfeld appears to be relatively minor. The Yamaha Monster Energy MX Team announced this today.

Under the Yamaha awning it was a fright during the final series of the MXGP. The first time when Maxime Renaux saw his hand slide off the handlebars. No big deal, just a detour outside the track and a near heart attack for Joël Smets. He was able to avoid Renaux just in time. A few seconds later it all went wrong when Maxime fell during a jump. On the same obstacle where Valentin Guillo had previously been eliminated.

Today Yamaha announces that the fall did not result in fractures. The damage would be limited to bruises on the thigh and left hip. The week of rest for Agueda (Portugal) will be welcome.
