Who will be driving where this Easter weekend?

The times when the cream of the crop of global motocross stood behind the starting gate in Marche-en-Famenne, Leuven or Neeroeteren for the Belgian Easter Trophy are already half an eternity behind us. But fortunately this beautiful tradition is still kept alive in the amateur federations. A geographical overview from West to East.

MCLB will travel to Wippelgem in East Flanders, a sub-municipality of Evergem, next weekend. In the village that gained national fame thanks to its most famous son – Gorki frontman Luc De Vos – the MB Team will receive the Easter Trophy of the MCLB and VJMO as usual. On Saturday, the youngsters of the VJMO will kick off, on Sunday it will be the turn of the MCLB riders. The East Flemish riders will compete in Wippelgem for the provincial jersey in their respective categories. In addition, the race also counts for the MCLB titles for the Promises, Newcomers B, Experts, Juniors 250 and 500, Seniors, Nationals 250 and 500 and Sidecars A and B.

JMS and VLM will pitch their tents on Easter Saturday and Sunday in the Kwezelstraat in Lummen, where the FUN MX Team is responsible for the organisation. On Saturday, in addition to the JMS youth riders, the BOTC classic car pilots will also be in action, with the strong Pré-92 and –'95 EVO class as the absolute attraction. A class that we can call the Inter-class of the BOTC championship. On Sunday, it is the turn of the VLM riders. Championship points can be earned for the Newcomers B, Newcomers C, Juniors 250 and 500.

In Herk-de-Stad, a little further south, VMCF will be hosting a rendezvous on Easter Sunday and Monday. On Easter Sunday, the Nationals and Inters will be competing for championship points, as will the youth riders and aspirants. On Easter Monday, all categories will be at the start again – hopefully with guest riders from VLM and MCLB – and there will be a Superfinal for the Youth Series.

AMPL will be facing its third confrontation of the 2025 season during the Easter weekend. In the picturesque Gaume village of Gérouville. With more than 850 licensees (!) the organizers of the MC Gérouvillois can expect a real migration. Watch the video below for the presentation of the circuit.
