ALast Sunday the first race in the sidecar class took place in Den Hout. In the sidecar inters class the differences in strength were quite clear this day. Winston Derksen/Ross Vincent started the new season excellently after missing out on the title in 2024 and won both heats.
With the full loot of 120 points they won Derksen/Vincent then also the daily classification. With two second places in the heats, second place went to Sam Veldman/Kaj van den Berg. The last place on the podium was with two third places for Bjorn van den Heuij/Sten van den Heuij.
In the national sidecar class it was even more exciting and the second round proved crucial for the complete podium. With a fifth and first place in the rounds it was Joris Mulders/Rion Meulenbroek who were allowed to climb the highest step of the podium. They kept Bart van der Lee/Wouter Direks behind them who came second with an equal total of points. The battle for the lowest step on the podium was also decided on the basis of the second round. It was Robbin Schuurman/Renee Schuurman who finished third just ahead of Cees Cornelisse/Jasey Vlot.
