HThe World Supercross Championship (WSX) heads to Cape Town, South Africa, as part of the 2025 season calendar. It will be the first time that World Supercross action will take place on the African continent, reinforcing the championship’s commitment to entertaining motorsports audiences around the world.

In partnership with leading local event promoter Showtime Management – ​​the team behind global entertainment extravaganzas such as Monster Jam, Disney on Ice, Freestyle Kings and Ultra Music Festival – World Supercross will thrill fans at Cape Town’s iconic DHL Stadium, a world-class venue renowned for hosting major international sporting and entertainment events. Once again this year, the world’s best riders will battle it out for the 450cc and 250cc world titles.

Taking place on a specially designed circuit with its own unique profile, South Africa will host the championship that has seen stars such as current champion Eli Tomac and supercross legend Ken Roczen shine across the globe. In addition to Cape Town, London and Buenos Aires will also be visited. The exact dates for these events have not yet been confirmed. This year will see the fourth edition of the WSX competition.
