>OIn very wet conditions Tim Gajser won the first race of the Internazionali d'Italia Motocross. The Honda rider won both heats ahead of 'rookie' Lucas Coenen. The podium was completed by Italian Andrea Bonacorsi who returns this season to Fantic with whom he previously won the EMX125 title. Nick Leerkes rode a great race, the Husqvarna rider from Apeldoorn finished both heats in fifteenth place.
Next week this championship continues on the renovated Montevarchi circuit.
